都说答案是A，因为some other examples是主语，是复数，所以先A，但主语为什么不是the following,主语是动名词，谓语用单数，而且为什么不用过去式的系动词，这里好像看不出时态。

这是一个常规的主系表结构，句首的 The following 是主语，当视为单数。following 已经名词话，不应视为动名词。
