这句定语从句用which还是where？为什么？

Beijing is a big city (      )is full of beautiful flowers and tall trees。
这句话使用我which还是where。以及怎么区分这两个词的具体用法

分别在此 :

上面的句子, 只可用 which, 因 which 本身称为 Relative Pronoun 关系代名词。

city 就是 which 的先行词 Antecedent.  而 which is full of .....    是其定语从句。

where 本身称为 Relative Adverb 关系副词，这并不是说是完全不能应用在此句子 !

除非句子更改了 it is full of ...

e.i.  Beijing is a big city where it is full of ...

city 都是 where 的先行词, 而 where 是 modifies 加重语气系动词 is 。

where 亦可 = in which
